Toong Xăng Xanh – A Cooperative of Hope

In May 2022, a group of young Xê Đăng people from Tu Mơ Rông district, Kon Tum province, embarked on a new journey: founding the Toong Xăng Xanh Cooperative.
They chose not to continue the cycle of heavy manual labor or leave their homeland in search of better opportunities. Instead, they sought answers right from the land where they were born.
They realized that their forests were not just a source of shade, but a treasure trove of precious medicinal plants waiting to be nurtured and brought to life.

Tu Mơ Rông is a misty land tucked along the Eastern Trường Sơn mountain range, where endless mountains meet seemingly endless rain.
Its cool, humid climate is ideal for the growth of rare medicinal herbs like Hồng Đẳng Sâm (Codonopsis), a plant deeply rooted in the lives of the local people for generations, valued not just for its nutrition but for its cultural significance.

From the rugged hillsides, the ginseng roots are carefully harvested, sun-dried, gently infused with wild forest honey, and sublimated through modern freeze-drying technology.
Each root, each slice of Hồng Đẳng Sâm is the crystallization of diligent hands and heartfelt care.
