🌕 Do You Still Remember the Lanterns of Mid-Autumn Past?
Back then, Mid-Autumn was not only about the tray of fruits and cakes, but also about the flickering light of lanterns in the hands of children. That light did more than illuminate the way, it lit up memories of carefree childhood, the sound of lion dance drums, and the joyous lantern parades around the village.
As time went by, bright electronic lights gradually replaced candle-lit lanterns, yet the emotions of a Mid-Autumn Past became harder to find. That is why The Bloom has chosen the handmade "Dó" paper lantern to be part of the Mid-Autumn Past 2025 gift collection as a way to keep those memories safe and offer back a moonlit season full of poetry.

"Dó" paper is a traditional Vietnamese craft, made entirely by hand from the "Dó" tree’s bark. It is durable, lightweight, and has a unique translucence. When a candle is lit inside, the light shines through each fiber of the paper, casting a soft, rustic glow unlike any other lantern. More than just beautiful, dó paper lanterns carry the breath of Vietnamese heritage: the very paper once used to print Đông Hồ paintings or for calligraphy, now rekindling the memory of a moonlit night of reunion.
✨ This Mid-Autumn, The Bloom invites you to hold on to that light gift it as a blessing, or keep it as your own glowing memory beneath the full moon, with Trăng Thơ and Trăng Thị.
